JeanneCONNEARNof Pine Street, Bacup, died in Burnley General Hospital on Sunday, May 12, aged 87 years.
A service will be held at St Mary’s and St Anselm’s RC Church, Bacup on Thursday, May 30 at 12.30pm, followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 1.45pm conducted by Father Chris McGrane.
Born in Bacup where she lived all of her life, Jeanne worked for Frank Whittaker Fruit and Veg on markets in Bacup and Rawtenstall and also in the Waterfoot shop.
She loved reading, travelling and watching wildlife programmes on TV, but mainly being surrounded by her loving family.
Wife to the late Kevin who died in 1985, she leaves children, Sharon, David and Andrea, grandchildren Claire, Philip, Heidi and Lauren, six great grandchildren, brothers Tommy and Brian and their families, nephews, nieces and many friends.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Cancer Research UK.
